Leveraging their experience as senior line operating managers and investers as well as leading the financial restructuring of poorly capitalized balance sheets, the partners have dealt successfully with the challenging and difficult issues facing many mid-sized operating companies. The firm places a premium on entrepreneurship, and strives to develop this ability in both the Littlejohn staff and their management partners. In addition, they have years of successful investment experience, individually and together.

Littlejohn draws professionals from top business schools, and looks for individuals who have had three to five years of operating line experience. In addition, the firm's junior analysts generally have two to three years experience at top-tier investment banks or consulting firms, prior to joining Littlejohn.
