The firm was founded by Angus Littlejohn in 1996 and today has nineteen investment and/or operating professionals, eight of whom are partners with extensive and successful investment and operating experience. Both individually and as a team, the Littlejohn partners have built a demonstrated record of focused investments, active management and consistent success. As of December 31, 2007, Littlejohn and its predecessor funds have made equity investments of approximately $1.3 billion in 30 platform portfolio companies and many add-on acquisitions. Cash proceeds of more than $2.0 billion have been realized on approximately $790 million of the equity investments realized to date.
