Mr. Ramsay joined Littlejohn in 1997 and became a partner in 2000. In January 2012, Mr. Ramsay was named President of Littlejohn and currently serves on the Private Equity Investment and Distressed Securities Risk Oversight committees. Mr. Ramsay has played a key role in the Firm’s investments in General Trailers, Diamond Innovations, Universal Lighting Technologies, Stolle Machinery Corp., Synventive Molding Solutions, PendaForm, Clean Earth, CoActive Technologies, Henniges Automotive, SunSource, Contech Engineered Solutions, Ntirety, Northwest Hardwoods, HydroChemPSC, Kaman Distribution Group, Strategic Materials, Inc and Motion Recruitment Partners. He currently serves as a director on the boards of PlayPower, Valcourt Building Services, Pritchard Industries, AHSG, Hiller and Ardurra Group, Inc.
Prior to joining Littlejohn, Mr. Ramsay spent five years with GE Capital, where he worked in both the financial management and strategic planning areas, supporting several GE businesses. Mr. Ramsay received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
